The Meal
Angela has super particular tastes when it comes to food. Which is awesome! I mean, a lot of people might stress about planning a menu that probably can't contain any meat, fish, or spices. Me, I see the challenge as an opportunity to do something awesomely unique. For instance, Angela loves cabbage, which is like the most versatile veg. We could have dry coleslaw, cabbage soup... the possibilities are endless! Maybe combine that with some boiled potatoes - welcome to texture heaven. Rice, which the Chinese eat at every meal, so you know it's good, although Angela might consider it "ethnic." No worries though, because there are literally a dozen other foods Angela will tolerate, so we've got serious options. And for those of you (Dad!) who think that you can't have a wedding reception without filet mignon and Maine lobster let me remind you that the star of this wedding is going to be my beautiful bride and no matter what we serve for dinner, it will pale in comparison to her radiant beauty. Also, there's a steakhouse down the road, so maybe we could have dinner there the night before.
